We had a fun couple of days with Mason, but we are glad that his little sister got to go home with him yesterday! He did really great, but we could tell he was ready to be with his family and he seemed to be fed up with going to the hospital to visit them.
This was the first morning we had Mason. They both wanted to go outside and even though it was dark and gloomy, it was still pretty warm so we went to blow bubbles and of course they ended up in the dirt.Later that night we went to see Addilyn.
Donovan only went for the snacks.
Naked baby Addi. She is so cute.
Brad always told me I would have to read to our kids because he doesn't do that. How quickly things change.
Mason went home yesterday morning and left some of his cold germs behind. Donovan was pretty sick by yesterday evening with a fever, stuffy nose, and cough. He had a moment of energy this afternoon when Brad came home for lunch, so of course he wanted to go outside to blow bubbles. He lasted for about 10 minutes and was ready for his nap when we got back inside. Bubbles are his new thing. He says it pretty well too so we can't pretend we don't know what he is talking about. We are getting a little light headed with all of the bubble blowing.
Donovan is sloooooowly starting to take an interest in saying words. His favorite word is "daddy", it must be pretty easy, I spend all day at home and he still can't say "mommy" quite right. Oh well. He was climbing all over me when I was taking this video, it was during another burst of energy.
We are really excited to have a new niece and can't wait for Kirsta to have her baby in November! We love all of these babies...okay, so Brad and Donovan like when they get bigger, but I love them both ways!!

Baby Addilyn!!!
I couldn't post this before because I didn't want to steal Lenna's thunder, but baby Addi is here!!! Addilyn Elizabeth was born last night at 7:07. She is 8 lbs 1 oz, 21 inches. She is SO adorable! We watched Mason all day yesterday while his parents were at the hospital and went to see Addilyn around 9 last night after she got a chance to settle in and things calmed down. He is going to be a great big brother, he already looks out for Donovan so I can only imagine how great he will be to his own sister. I will post more pictures later, I had to steal this one from Lenna and Scott's blog because I left our camera at the hospital last night.
After we saw Addilyn, Mason came back to our house for a sleep over so Scott could stay at the hospital to be with Lenna and the baby. Mason read a few books to Donovan, I really wish I would have had the camera to record him, it is pretty impressive. He has a really good memory and almost got every word right on most of the pages! This morning we woke up to Mason kicking the floor as Donovan was kicking the mattress in his crib. When I walked in they both had big grins on their faces. I was a little worried about how Mason would handle being without his mommy and daddy, but he did fine! We have had a couple of meltdowns when he has wanted his mommy, but he has done better than I expected. He is very grown up for an almost 3 year old!

Our first week back
Considering we don't have 2 cars until June (the Mazda is at the auto shop at the college), we had a pretty good week. The weather was great so we had a lot of fun playing outside blowing bubbles and running around.
He is always putting his glasses on upside down. On Saturday morning we went to Night at the Museum 2 with Lenna, Scott and Mason. Brad had a tournament so it was just Donovan and me. We figured out that he isn't quite ready to see movies in the theater. The boys both looked pretty studly with their glasses on. Once again, Donovan's glasses are on upside down.
Today we all went to the zoo! It was fun to go with everyone instead of just Donovan and me, not that I don't love our trips together, I really do. It was just nice to have a little help. Poor Lenna got pretty tired, but it didn't induce labor. They are scheduled to induce at 7 am tomorrow!! Hooray! We get to play with Mason for a couple of days, Donovan is going to have a blast.
The little monkeys are free to roam around the jungle and this one let people get really close. After he spotted Mason's grapes, he started to follow us, so Brad threw him one.
I hope everyone else had a good Memorial Day weekend!

Videos
If you didn't notice, I was in a rush to get through the last post. I didn't really feel like blogging but wanted to get it done. We got a lot of fun videos, but here are my favorites.
Jumping with Papa.
The park by Kim and Steve's house in St. George.
Playing with G-pa Glenn. After my dad took the remote away, he decided he was done playing with him. Such a fickle child.
Being teased by Brad's little brother, Scott.
Enjoying the sprinklers! He was so sad the next day when he waited and the sprinklers never came on.
Donovan is becoming a little copy cat. When he feels like being silly, he will do almost anything you show him!
On Sunday, he didn't want to take his nap so he started dozing off around 4:30 that afternoon while eating watermelon and chips.
That concludes posts about our trip. I hope you all enjoyed watching Donovan!

Home at last!
Donovan and I made it home this afternoon! We were definitely ready to see Bradley, we really missed him.
We had a really fun trip! I will try to keep the commentary short.
Donovan loved cleaning his Grandma Mindy's house. He also loved threatening the dogs with the broom.Donovan loves his Grandparents! He was so good with all of them. I was actually pretty surprised at how fast he took to his great grandparents. We spent a few days in Cedar City and were able to see both sets of my grandparents.
Donovan loved playing outside at both my grandparent's houses.
Donovan with my cousin's little boy Hayden. They are so cute.
Donovan was in the way of the big kids playing "horse". He insisted on playing around them with his own basketball. I love how he stepped over the weeds in this picture.
Aunt Brenda and my mommy.
Donovan, Emma (I think, sorry if I'm wrong), and Hayden. Emma is Hayden's half sister.
Donovan with Great Grandma and Grandpa Newville.
Great Grandma Goodman gave Donovan an ice cream cone.
Donovan and Great Grandpa Goodman. Donovan loved reading magazines while Grandpa did his crossword puzzles.
We went to see Kim and Steven's baby in St. George one day and decided to play at the park while we waited for them to get home. This park was so awesome. They have a lot of fun park equipment as well as these awesome fountains. Donovan had a blast! I wish we had something like this close by us.
Donovan loved playing at his Great Grandma and Grandpa Goodman's house. They have a really big yard and a garden area that hasn't been planted so he ran around and played in dirt.
He also loved playing on the lawn mower.
Donovan loves being outside (did you notice?).
We went to the Sandy aquarium with my best friend Jessica, her little boy Heath, and her adorable sister Alexa. They had a lot of fun, even though Donovan got a short nap.
We went up to Tibble Fork reservoir with my cousin Annie and her little boys, Logan and Damon. The boys had a lot of fun playing in the water and had fun running around after we ate. They are both such cute boys.
Adorable Colin at Rachel and Kaylee's soccer games.
Donovan kicking a ball at the games.
We went to Discovery Gateway with Kirsta and Colin one day. Donovan loved it!
Cute boys! Donovan loved the balls.
He really didn't care for the helicopter.
We went swimming one day with Jessica and Heath. Donovan had so much fun, but he fell asleep in the car shortly after we left.
We got to see Coach Ginn at Katie's reception. He was the assistant at IWCC when Bradley and I played. Donovan liked hanging with Ginn for a few minutes.
It was nice to have toys for the kids to play with at the reception. Donovan had a lot of fun.
Me, Katie, and her new husband Sam. Katie looked so beautiful! Congrats guys!
We spent Saturday and Sunday with the Silvey's. John and Debbie Hanks were in town so we went to dinner at Joe Bandito's where Donovan enjoyed chips and spicy salsa, onions, red pepper, and a tortilla. He is such a weird eater. The spicy salsa didn't even phase him, he loved it. When we got back, the sprinklers were on, so he jumped right in!
He was SOAKED!
On Sunday, I guess Donovan really wanted to wear Scott's Mickey Mouse tie, so Scott let him.
Donovan even got to play with Colin.
Yesterday, I went golfing with ShayLea. She started golfing because one of her friends convinced her to try out last year. She went to all of the tournaments and even qualified to go to State. I was impressed with her skill!
ShayLea used to be really annoying when she was little, so I wasn't the nicest sister. I'm glad that she's not annoying anymore, I actually really enjoyed spending some time with just the two of us. I love my little sister!
Donovan and Rocky finally made peace before we left.
Sorry if we didn't get to see you during our trip! Brad wants to go out some time in July so we will be back soon!
