Overdue...

Here are some pictures from before we moved and after the move when we took a short trip to Utah with Lenna and her kids.

They used some of the boxes that were too damaged to use for packing as forts, etc.  Chamae was playing in it until she found her toothbrush.

They would make adorable nerds.

Not sure what this was about.
Getting them to pose together is like pulling teeth.
Donovan is teaching his sister some silly things.

Chamae loves the dirt in our backyard!  I love having a fenced backyard, it is awesome!! I don't even mind that they are dirty and sweaty every night!!

I also love our big deck!
Chamae just loves to eat dirt.
The Friday after we moved in, the kids and I went on a trip to Utah with Lenna and her kids.  It was a lot of fun and the kids did really well on the drive.  Our last stop on the way out was Little America so the kids could have some ice cream and have a longer break before hitting the road for the last few hours.

As soon as we got to Springville, the kids had to play!  They didn't care about food or anything else!

ShayLea came over the next day with her new puppy so she could see the kids sooner.  Her name is Rooka and she is pretty darn cute.  All the kids loved her and wanted to play with her.
 Chamae was a little rough...
On Sunday, I was able to go to my friend, Katie's house for a little soccer girl reunion.  It was fun to see everyone to see what was going on in their lives.
Chamae must have missed Corbin while we were in Lehi.
My best friend, Jessica, came over with her 3 boys.  I only got pictures of Chamae and Holden, but Donovan and Heath played well together too and baby Haze was adorable!!
The little monkey at it again.  She never stops climbing!!
When I was at Katie's on Sunday, she convinced me to take Donovan over later in the week to see their snakes. He LOVED it!!  He loves reptiles, bugs, dogs, cats, you name it!!  He will be my little animal rights activist.  He cried when Mason stomped on, "The awesomest bug ever".
Seriously?  Who is this kid?!  I hate snakes!!
He loved their geckos too.  He made this face and said, "This is what he's doing."

 She's pretty:)
Chamae and Papa Sam.  I'll have to have my mom email me pictures from her camera too because I used up all my memory and couldn't take any pictures of the kids with my parents!
Handsome boy all ready for cousin pictures.
This is what we came home to!!  I love my yard!

The grass needs a little help, but I love our blossoming trees!!
And Donovan is playing soccer now!

We are in the house! Woot! The only boxes we have left to unpack are decorations and frames. That will take some time, I'm sure. Brad is planning on turning th basement into a Barca/RSL man cave...we'll see about that. I will post some before and after pictures when we at least get some decorations up. I was a little stressed out today due to some unforeseen circumstances. We didn't even think about water service and it got shut off shortly before I had to go pick Donovan up. So after lunch, I packed up 4 kids (I had Addi and Corb today) and headed to the water works to put the water service in our name so they could turn it on. That wasn't too bad, but it just added to all the stress of moving. I wasn't a very pleasant mommy/caregiver for the rest of the day. Sorry kids. I will be better tomorrow!! Now that we have the water situation and the garbage service situation figured out, there shouldn't be any more surprises to handle...hopefully.

Moving...

I should be packing, but I am procrastinating.  Besides, we already have a few boxes stacked up around the apartment, delaying a few more will mean less abuse from the children.  Their new favorite activity is climbing on top of boxes.  I have all of the breakables in our bedroom with the door shut now.  I have mentioned it on Facebook, but realized I haven't blogged about it.  We are buying a house in Council Bluffs.  It was a pretty fast decision once we saw the house.  We went to see it once (it had been on the market for less than 2 weeks) and we put an offer in that evening.  They accepted the offer the next day later in the evening.  We are getting pretty excited and it has given me a reason to go through things to get rid of items we haven't used in a while and to get a little more organized.  There are a few things I need to go through before we do major packing on the 9th, but I have been able to get quite a bit done.  Brad just left it up to me, so I'm doing it on my own schedule!  We'll get pictures, etc posted as soon as we are moved in and settled.  I already have a bunch of projects "pinned" on Pinterest and I can't wait to get the kids rooms all cute and personalized.  I may even decorate our room!

Anyway, enough about that.  Here are some cute pictures and videos of the little stinkers.

Chamae is getting pretty good at animal sounds.

More silly dance partying.
