Chamae looked especially cute the other day with her side bun.

 

I let them paint the other day after I caught Donovan painting in his room and getting it on his carpet. I thought the kitchen would be a better idea.

This new smile of his is driving me nuts, but he is still stinking cute!  The kid is always happy when art is involved!

 

"I dirty mom. Bleh."

 

I wore a scarf to church the other day and Chamae wanted to wear one too, along with her "pity headband".  It lasted until about 5 minutes before it was time to leave when she said, "I don't want it!"  And threw them off.  

 

I forgot...

When I saw this picture, I realized just how much Chamae looks like me!  There is a picture of me with a similar look on my face in my scrapbook at my parent's house.  I was older in it, but the facial expression and features as well as the cowlicks in our hair are the same.  The only difference is, my eyes have never been as bright blue as hers.  Now I have to put all my insecurities behind me so my little girl will know how beautiful she is and never second guess it!
