Soccer, Easter, and some before and after shots

Donovan is getting better at soccer!  It is fun to watch the progress he makes everytime he goes.

Brad's college team had some scrimmages Easter weekend.  We went to the afternoon one after Chamae's nap.  The kids love to play on the Gator and have been for multiple rides.  As far as they are concerned, it's Daddy's Gator.

We had a hunt and dinner at the Hiatt's on Saturday since Scott had to work Easter Sunday.  It was really nice.  We especially enjoyed seeing David and Joyce.  It seems like it has been a while since we got together with them.

My adorable kids on Easter before church.  I found Donovan's tie and Chamae's outfit the Friday before, so I got a pretty good deal:)  Chamae looked so cute in her dress!!  And Donovan was handsome as always!

She now likes to give me a cheeser face whenever I take pictures of her or ask her to smile.  Someone explained her well yesterday at church.  She is a character!

More soccer!  He is starting to get the hang of it.

Here are some before and after shots of the rooms I painted.  Here is Donovan's room before.  It was a light brown if you can't tell.



Now it is gray...but looks a little purple.  I ordered him some bedding, so as soon as I get it, I'll take a shot of the whole room.  Here is his art display wall.

And here is his favorite spot in the house.  He now has a little art center in his room.  This kid could draw all day long.  He is our little artist.  It has been fun to see how his drawings have evolved in the last couple of years. 

Here is the Living Room before.  It had the red accent wall and a yellowish tan color throughout the rest.

I painted it a grayish beige color and I really like the way it turned out. Brad was being a nerd and wouldn't stop getting parts of his body in the pictures.  We spent about an hour yesterday after lunch getting things up on the wall.  I have a couple more projects I'd like to do for each room, but all in good time!  I think I made a lot of progress in a week!!

The gallery wall.  I like the way it turned out.  I'm not a very symmetrical person.  I like the randomness of it.

Before of Chamae's room.  It was a brown color all around. I kept the brown, but added some color to one wall.

It's a very bright pink!  I love it!!  It will be even cuter when I get things on the wall.  I hope I can do it sometime in the next month...

And here's the kid's play area.  I am happy with it for now.  I'll probably put something on the walls eventually, but for now it serves it's purpose.  I know you can't tell, but the kids are in the tunnel in the picture.  I love that I can send them downstairs when I have housework, and they love it!!
