Ahhh...that new camera smell...

We got a new camera on Saturday! Huzzah! Donovan has been banned from touching it, of course. Brad won't even let him play with the broken one. He loves to have his picture taken though, so he's fine with it :)

I was just playing around with it. Mason and Lenna came over for a little bit while Scott and Addi were asleep and Brad had soccer stuff going on. They played Wii and Donovan wanted to keep playing after they left. This is him boxing. He's actually getting pretty good!

He's such a little ham, he loves to have his picture taken!!

And me at 21 weeks. I'm starting to feel a lot more pregnant now, it's getting difficult to carry my little boy around and it's making me a little sad. He's such a snuggly little boy and he gets so worn out in the afternoons because he never stops! I always end up carrying him up our stairs after we get home from the store or from playing somewhere.

Happy Birthday Boys!!

Donovan's birthday was on Friday, and Bradley's is today. Donovan wanted a Spiderman cake for his birthday and this is what I came up with. I stole this picture from Lenna's blog because we currently don't have a camera. Donovan broke it the day before his birthday party.

Bradley asked for a german chocolate cake like his mom makes for his dad, so I went for it. It was all from scratch and it turned out really good! Brad told me I nailed it, so he was happy! Again, no pictures. Not having a camera is annoying.

This weekend we had a lot of fun playing soccer with our old friends from I-dub! I had told my Doctor I wanted to play and he looked at me for a minute and then said, "No slide tackling and drink plenty of water." That made me feel better about my decision to play. I think I did alright for being 20 weeks pregnant! I had so much fun, and I even scored! Tiva and I were able to do our "shoe shine" celebration. I had a bit of an edge because Brad told his girls if they touched me, they might as well start walking home. I told him to tell them to be nice, I think he took it a little overboard.
Some of the Alumni and the "shoe shine". Tiva came up with this celebration our Freshman year. Donovan looks really hot, it was a warm day and he was running all over the place. he was a favorite, he waved to everyone. I had a lot of fun playing, we won 3-2 and Brad said we actually looked pretty good, but I am still really sore. It didn't help that the night before, Tiva, Katie, and I were up until 3am. We couldn't stop talking! We would say it was time to go to bed, but then we'd get started on a new subject. I miss them :(, but it' s probably better that we don't live close, it's going to take me a week to recover sleep from that one night!!

On Saturday night we went to Old Chicago. We went there a few times while we were playing so it seemed like the natural choice :) It was delicious and so much fun to play with my girls!!

Hopefully I can convince Bradley to get a new camera soon, I'm going a little crazy and it hasn't even been a week yet.

Happy Birthday Bradley!!!!

Do I really get everything I want?

The baby is a....

I'm still a little shocked, I was so sure I would end up with another boy. I've been too spoiled! I got everything I wanted. I got pregnant when I wanted to, I haven't been sick so I've been able to continue to run and stay in shape, and I'm going to have a girl!! Donovan is excited to have a sister, probably because he spends so much time with Addi! He's going to be an awesome big brother!

I've been feeling a lot of movement lately and actually saw my belly move last night. Some women may think I'm crazy, but I love being pregnant!! I honestly love it. What I hate is the recovery after delivery...bleh. Anyway, I'll be 20 weeks on Sunday! We're almost halfway there!!

No big deal...

...just took a trip to Kansas City on a private jet to watch Real Salt Lake play the KC Wizards last night. One of the girls just happens to be the daughter of the 50% owner of RSL. He was nice enough to invite us, along with Jordan and Kolay, to fly to the game with them on their jet. Normally a 2 1/2 hour drive, we got there in about 30 minutes.

Donovan had a blast, he loved the plane ride and was just excited to be there! Being with one of the owners, we were put up in a suite to watch the game, which of course was stocked with beverages and snacks.

Jordan and Kolay. Have I mentioned they're engaged now?!

Donovan and Mommy.

Brad and Me.
Brad and Jordan.Brad, Deloy, and Jordan. This man is amazing. He's ridiculously wealthy, ridiculously generous, down to earth, and just a genuinely nice guy! I can't say anything bad about him, he's amazing. I look forward to sitting next to him on the sidelines when he flies in his jet to come watch some of the home games.
Sorry Jordan, this was the only decent picture of me.
Me, Brad, Donovan, Robin (Deloy's daughter), and Shelby. I told you I was getting a belly.

Anyway, that was our weekend. It was pretty amazing. This has been a pretty awesome month. Even though Brad will be busy this week, we have a lot to look forward to. Hopefully we'll find out what baby is on Wednesday, we'll celebrate Donovan's 3rd birthday on Thursday (his actual birthday is on Friday), and we have the alumni game on Saturday!! I'm so excited to see and play with some of my old teammates, it's going to be a blast!!

Donovan's latest

On Friday, Donovan and I tagged along with the Hiatt's to the Fair close by. It was a nice little diversion on a drizzly day. Donovan and Mason had fun seeing the animals and playing around for a little while.

Donovan had to make his mother nervous on the humongous tractor.
Such a cute little cheeser.

I'm pretty sure I'll get this look a lot when he's a teenager. "Seriously mom? You're taking a picture of this?"
They were both giving me some good smiles to work with.
Anyway, the latest on Donovan. This kid is a fish, I wish I had been taking pictures. Everytime we go to the pool he gets a little braver. He started out hanging on the edge one day, then progressed to dunking his head underwater with his nose plugged another day. Now he's jumping out to me with out making me hold his hands and yesterday he started kicking and trying to swim by himself with his life jacket on. He went from one end of the pool to the other a few times and wouldn't let me touch him. He just dog-paddled his way all around the pool. I was in shock. He's gained so much control and he's been so daring and brave. He still doesn't like to jump in and swim by himself though, he likes to be caught. As awesome as he's doing, I am a little concerned. We're going to have to keep a really close eye on him now! He might be a little too brave and comfortable in the water! Along with gaining all of this independence, he's also been gaining a little attitude to go with it. I hear they just get more attitude until they move out...I guess we'll just have to get used to it or deal with it in a way that doesn't make us all miserable. Even with all the attitude, he's still my sweet little boy who loves to snuggle and give kisses. He's such a handsome little boy and just keeps getting better looking as he gets older! His blue eyes and adorable grin make him pretty irresistable. It makes it pretty hard to punish him, but I think we're doing pretty well. Not always 100% consistent, but getting much better! Anyway, that's my Donovan. He's adorable and sweet and is getting really excited about having a little sister...no, we don't know the gender, but he's still convinced it's a girl. Anyway, I'll probably update once we get Donovan's 3 year pictures back or when we find out what baby is on the 11th...as long as he/she decides to cooperate.
