Halloween

I love having kids during holidays!  I don't think I can say that enough!  They make it so much fun!  I was going to get creative and we were all going to be characters for Harry Potter, but Donovan kept saying he didn't want to be Harry Potter, so I took him to look at costumes and we found Buzz Lightyear cheaper than I could have made Harry Potter, so I bagged my creativity...and who are we kidding, would it have really gotten done anyway?

 My friend loaned me a strawberry costume for Chamae, but I had most of the makings for a witch so I did that instead...although, she looks more like a Can-Can girl.  There's no way she would have worn a witch hat, so I improvised with something I already had...and she wasn't happy when I first put it on.

 Hannah and grumpy Chamae.  She really wasn't grumpy, but she wasn't really happy either.  She lightened up as the evening went on.

 Donovan loves trick or treating.  He's already talking about next year.  After every house, he would run up to us and show us what he got, or say, "Guess what I got!"  He was very enthusiastic.

The kids and I take off for Utah tomorrow morning and Brad leaves tomorrow afternoon for the District Tournament.  I'll try to update how they do while I'm at my parent's house.  We're crossing our fingers for 2 wins so they can get to Nationals again this year!!  GO REIVERS!!
