We took another zoo trip this week. Donovan had a blast as always!I think it's mating season...
Handsome little boy!
Mason is in Utah for a couple of weeks and is missing a few soccer games, so Lenna asked if Donovan wanted to fill in for him. He was very excited! When I asked him yesterday if he wanted to play in Mason's game he said, "Donovan play on the field too?" We usually have to chase him down to get him off the field so he was pretty excited that he was going to be part of it.
Lenna and Addi decided to come down and watch so Scott could get some sleep. It was pretty cold.Awesome action shot.
He loved warming up and passing the ball back and forth. He also loved to stretch...I guess.
Once they got going, he didn't have quite as much fun kicking the ball. At one point, he spent about 5 minutes spinning in circles, Lenna got video, my camera had low batteries. He loves passing back and forth and dribbling on his own.
Once all of the kids got in the mix, he was done. I guess he's not ready to compete for the ball yet. He had a lot of fun warming up and kicking the ball around, but after a few minutes of actually playing he was done. We had to leave early, he was on the verge of a meltdown.Happy Mother's Day tomorrow! I'm sure it will be just like any other Sunday! We'll go to church, I'll make dinner, and we'll head over to the soccer academy (if weather permits). Did anyone watch this weeks episode of The Middle? That's how I feel about Mother's Day.

I can't watch any of the videos, but the pictures sure are cute—especially the stretching ones. I hope you have a great mothers day—encourage that family of yours to do something nice for you. They just might surprise you!
Thanks for the fun video and pictures. I'm surprised Donovan didn't get into the game part of soccer more. It's ok, he's still young and learning. I hope you have a fabulous mother's day. I know, sometimes it's more work than other days when your family is young and husband is busy. You are a great mom!
so cute! I bet donavon loved every second of it
Hee hee. I love the soccer socks on him. And he has a cute little bum in that stretching photo.
What a cute kid. I'm sure you already have an idea for a skit for camp but I had my girls do a skit about values (or whatever) and they were all fairytale princesses like how Shrek 3 had them. It was super funny!
love the stretching picture! our zoo is not nearly as interesting as yours. last time we went makenna said the rhinos were her favorite part. can you get any more boring than rhinos?? oh well. are you guys going to be able to come to the family reunion?
