Our child doesn't have a chance. He is at a soccer game or something soccer related at least once a week. Hopefully he gets into it and enjoys it! Brad had his last day of the Academy on Sunday the 23rd. We were both glad it was done, now we get Brad to ourselves on Sundays. Donovan enjoyed getting out and seeing people, but I don't think he'll miss it.
High School soccer, however, is not over yet. Donovan's favorite thing to do when they have a home game is throw stuff off the bridge.
I guess the game they were playing wasn't that important because Brad invited Donovan to go sit with him on the bench. He was in heaven. He loved being right there in the action.
We stopped by Target on our way to the park on day and got a bucket, shovel, and sifter.
He loves to hang, but not for very long.
Donovan loves stickers. We went to the dollar store and got some construction paper and stickers and he went to town.
On Saturday we went to the park for a picnic. Donovan had been asking to have a picnic for a few days, so when Brad had the day off, we went for it. He loved it. He got to play and eat at the park...his two favorite things.
On Sunday we went to a graduation party for a girl Brad used to coach. Her dad, Doug, loves Donovan. He also loves golf, so he let Donovan and Brad play with extra golf clubs he has.
We went to Addi's birthday party yesterday. The party hats were tiaras, that was apparently Scott's doing. The boys thought it was great. Donovan's so pretty, he could be a girl.
My pretty princesses. Maybe I don't need a little girl after all.
Pretty little birthday girl.
Happy (late) Birthday Addi!
There was another soccer game today.
It got rained out. Actually it got thunderstormed/tornadoed out. So we got to spend some time in the "tornado shelter" at the school (it's just an empty hallway away from windows and doors).
Handsome boys.

Awesome. I will be very surprised if Donovan doesn't love soccer when he grows up. I love his mad dance skills. And he does make a very pretty princess.
Oh he'll love soccer. I don't think he'll realize he has a choice. And we've watched Donovan dance 4 times. Sarah loves it.
I too will be very surprised if he doesn't like soccer! Lots of fun pictures.
He's getting big enough now. Time to get that boy a ball, a glove, and a bat...
Your dad is funny! Baseball and Silvey? Bradley was a mean little catcher for a couple years then he came to his senses and stuck with soccer. Ha. Donovan is charming with his smile and sparkly eyes. You do have some lovely princesses.
Can't wait to see and be with Donovan. Thanks for the nice blog!
You might let your child watch Yo Gabba Gabba, but I let my child watch your child watching Yo Gabba Gabba. So whose to judge? Not me!
Your fairy princess has a 5 o'clock shadow... wait, that's not Donovan!
He's about big enough for a good drum, too! Hey, anything to irritate the parents. Isn't that one of the rewards of being a grand parent?
