Just a few more days until the kids and I fly out to Utah! Woot! So far, the airport levee is holding and the roads leading us there are still open so we should be good to go! It will be an adventure with the 2 stinkers on my own! I'm expecting the best, but preparing for the worst!!
Chamae is getting to be so much fun. I have gotten over the fact that I'll probably never get good naps from her. She is so much fun when she's awake and fed! Even when she only naps for 30 minutes, she's still pretty happy!
Big, chubby cheek grin! Love those cheeks!
We went to play with the Hiatt's for a little while on Saturday. Donovan got to play in the pool and went on a slip and slide for the first time. He liked it, but his skills need some work.

Huzzah! I know you'll be busy with your family when you get here, but if you could spare an hour or two I know a couple of cousins who would love to play outside with D-Van and Chamaemae. Also, I love that little shirt. It was one of my favorites with Kate.
yay! I hope the trip goes well for you with the two kids! I am so sad we won't get to see you at Gaylas we need to for sure meet up sometime while you are here so I can see you guys
I hope we get to see you guys when you're here. And good luck on the plane.
I wouldn't give up all hope on Chamae's naps. I was talking to my neighbors and we agreed these "middle months" are not good for naps. Maybe when they crawl and tire themselves out more??? Sarah's mini naps eventually consolidated to two 1-hour naps by 1-year and then just a 2+ hour nap by 18 months. Hang in there.
I LOVE those chubby cheeks too! I love summer outside fun as well- it's the best! It will be fun to be together in UT! Happy trip!
