Picture overload

I finally understand how some people can get behind on blogging. I was so good at making time for it during naps or after kids went to bed, but all I want to do at the end of the day is lay on the couch and either read a book or watch TV.

The day before we started watching Addi and Corbin and before Donovan started preschool, we decided to call Mindi, Sydney, and Coleson to take a zoo trip.

Chamae loved being in her stroller (I think we have used it a total of 4 times now). I love this picture, she's starting to look more like I did when I was a baby/toddler.

My little baldy.

She just keeps getting cuter. I am loving the stage she's in right now. She naps pretty well, sleeps about 11 hours in a row at night, and loves to crawl around and play for most of the day. She has her grumpy moments, but she's pretty good and happy most of the time.

Donovan's first day of preschool! He is loving it. He brings home all kinds of drawings and is getting pretty good at writing his name.

"You're the devil" (Best of Mike Meyers, anyone?) I love this face, she cracks me up.

ShayLea came to visit us for a week. For some reason, I didn't take a whole lot of pictures while she was here. We went swimming one day and Donovan was in heaven. He is still a little fish and keeps getting braver in the water...we may have to do swimming lessons next year.

Chamae loved the water, but I was worried about her burning. She is so fair skinned!

Brad started playing soccer on Tuesday nights and we enjoy getting out and going with him. Donovan loves being out there and likes to sit by the players.

Chamae is starting to "help" me whenever the dishwasher gets opened. It's like she has a radar and the second it opens, she's headed to the kitchen. It makes cleaning fun and super efficient.

We spent Labor Day weekend in Missouri visiting my mother in law, Tia's, family. Her aunt and uncle were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Brad had games so he couldn't go, but I took the kids and Lenna was solo with her kids too. It was a fun little trip and the kids were able to meet some extended family. Chamae got quite a few compliments, apparently she's very pretty:)

The curled mohawk has become her signature style. We do what we can with what we have.

She loved her Great Uncle Denny (Tia's sister Gina's husband). They got along really well. he even fed her some blueberries out of his pancake one morning. I'm pretty sure he gave her a chip while they were sitting like this too. It's hard not to like Denny.

We celebrated the anniversary at the old family farm. It was extremely hot, but the boys had fun playing with toys Papa and Granny got for them at the dollar store, and Donovan found a fuzzy caterpillar.

The kid loves bugs.

The $1 bow and arrow.

Chamae with her best buddy again.

Granny and the two babes.

Shooting more arrows.

We stopped in Maryville to watch Hannah play. The kids were grateful for some time outdoors to run around after being in the car. Chamae especially hated being in the car, just ask Papa Sam. He was pretty patient with her.

Brad was happy to have his babies back and they were happy to be with him again too. He's still pretty busy, so we take him every second we can!
