At the beginning of the week, Donovan had a low fever so we took it easy in our comfy clothes for most of the day. He was still pretty happy, but he was very tired and of course, very warm. He took plenty of cat naps on his mommy and by the end of the day he was pretty much back to normal. It was the first fever he has ever had, he is a very healthy little boy! The fever never quite reached 102 so I wasn't too worried, but we kept an eye on it and took his temp often, much to his dismay. We had a few warm days this week so Donovan and I went outside to play in the grass. Donovan loves the grass, and he loves leaves (mostly to eat). I don't know why, but I love how chubby and cute he looks in this picture.
What a poser.
Here you go Bex, Donovan finally fits in your Seasiders (BYU Hawaii) onesie. It makes his eyes pretty blue, I don't know if you can tell in this picture.
We went to the park a couple times this week. He loves to chillax on the swings.
Of course he had to play in the gravel. Yes, he tried to eat rocks. I think I fished out about 10 rocks that day.
When he wasn't eating the rocks, he was throwing them. He is such a boy.
Hannah came to play with us for a little while the other day and she kept Donovan entertained. He's not a very big laugher, but it is pretty cute when he does. I couldn't really get a good video of him laughing, but I got a good pic in the middle of a giggle. We got a pretty good video of his claps. He does it all the time but for some reason he stops when I pull out the camera.
Bradley's girls had a game on Thursday so Donovan and I tagged along. We played behind the bench because the other side was all dirt and gravel and Donovan wanted to play on the ground. He was a very good boy even though he was pretty tired from only having one short nap that day.The girls lost 2-1 and Brad was not happy with their performance so he made them run after the game, so Donovan got even more tired. He started to fall asleep while Brad was talking to one of the girls.
He was exhausted, but he still managed to smile when his daddy teased him. It was pretty darn cute.
This video cracks me up, he is such a sweet little baby.
Since I know Bradley probably isn't going to tell anyone this, I will do it for him. We went to his graduation dinner last night and he got 2 awards. He was in the top 10% in his class and he was the top student in his major. Granted, it was only for the Council Bluffs campus, but that is still an awesome achievement! He claims it's not a big deal because nobody really cares about their grades at the CB campus, they just want to pass and graduate. I think it is awesome, he has worked very hard and I am very proud of him. He is done!!!! Hooray!!! Congratulations Bradley!

Great job Brad! I'm very proud of you too! You did it! CONGRATULATIONS! Sorry Donovan was under the weather- was it his teeth? He gets cuter and cuter! Love all the pictures and videos!Mom/Granny
It was his teeth, they still won't cut through! They aren't swollen anymore though.

Congrats to Brad. I hate it when the little ones are sick. He's a trooper. And get used to eating dirt, boys do that a lot. Drew has a huge dirt mound and now my hose is covered in dirty. The joys of boys.
Congratulations Brad! I know you are glad to have that done! Good job!
Donovan is so cute! Love the video of him laughing even though he's trying to sleep...
Thanks for the updates, good job Brad...now go get a masters at Creighton, it's just across the river or go to Lincoln and get a Husker masters. dad
Woohoo for Brad. Like I said to him before, must have been one sad class graduating. JK. Way to be Bradley.
And as for Donovan, he sure is growing up. I get to see him all of the time, but for some reason he looks even older in the pictures you post!
