Our trip to Cedar City, and the week before

I have decided to split this into 2 posts, so this is before Utah and the trip Donovan and I made to Cedar City Memorial weekend.

This is Donovan's favorite spot. He likes to get into things on the book shelf in between the couches, he also likes to store his toys there.
Our first attempt at noodles...

I figure this is helping him with his balance, he likes to "stand" on his knees a lot. He is starting to get his balance better on his feet too.
We put his seat forward facing for the trek to Utah. I know, he isn't 12 months, don't lecture me. He is 23 lbs and I felt better about how much more I can secure the seat when it is forward facing. Plus, it made the trip easier since he could see us.
We got into Utah on Friday and visited at Caleb and Heather's house since Tia (Brad's mom) didn't know we were in town (I will explain in the 2nd post). Here he is with Mason and Kaylee
Donovan really liked Morgan, my cousin Annie's husband. He was trying to show Donovan how to get the ball in the hole and would cheer for him when he came close...Donovan likes to be cheered.
He loves his Grandma.
"I wanna learn how to play snitch-pitch". This is a really fun game that I want to teach the Silvey's, I just need to know how to make one!
Donovan really liked ShayLea. A lot of people think she looks like me, so maybe that is the reason.
Grandma took Donovan to see the lambs next door to Great Grandma Goodman's house. He loved them! He got very excited when he first saw them.
Donovan taking his turn on the awesome teeter totter.
It's fun for everyone!Donovan really enjoyed being around everyone. He acted a little shy toward some people, but had a good time, he even got to play on the stairs with his G-pa. Great Grandma even let him play with...I don't know what you call them, just watch the video.

He was pretty worn out by the afternoon, but didn't sleep for long. He was in his pj's at around 3:00 or 4:00 because he had an explosion out of his diaper. Yes, it even got on the carpet, that was a first. He had too many bananas that weekend.

I can't believe you have all this stuff posted already. Shouldn't you still be sleeping off the trip?

Funny you mention the game - I actually got one on sale in the sporting goods section at ShopKo the other day and haven't put it together yet. We'll have to play next time you guys come to UT.
