Like father, like son

My boys are so cute. Brad might get mad at me for posting this, I don't think he knows I was recording. They are so silly together. Donovan loves to imitate his daddy, and vice versa.

We had a rainy day today and Donovan wanted to play outside, even though he has a cold (VERY runny nose, cough, etc). He cried when I made him go inside to put on his jacket (it started raining while we were walking around outside). He cried again when I made him go inside for good. I felt a little mean, but he is sick and I don't want it to get worse!
He doesn't look very happy, but he was! He has to splash in every puddle he sees.

This is a video of Donovan's new favorite sounds. Don't mind my babbling in the background, I am still trying to get a video of him doing his elephant impersonation. He has been giving kisses pretty liberally lately, but wasn't in the mood when I was taking this video...oh well, he was still being pretty cute.

Good sounds, but those dance moves need some practice.

I wonder who was having more fun Brad or Donavon :) I think that is the best thing about being a parent is you get to have fun and do silly things all over again. That sound that Donavon was making almost sounded like he was saying tickle tickle over and over. He has a cute little voice.

I love how Brad is entertained by the baby show way more than Donovan is. And what a cute little voice!

It's good to see Brad is learning some new skills...

Cute videos. Like father like son- it's nice they have fun together! I think it's great you let Donovan play in the rain! I wondered if we missed the best part of the last video- did he dump the toy tub?

I think my favorite part about the rain video is D-baby running away at the very end ha. I can teach Donovan some sick dance moves over Christmas...I have skills in that department.

Monkey see, monkey do. So when Donovan is saying "diga," does that me ribbit or chicken? Just curious...ha!
