He's just cute.
I just had to include this picture for those of you who haven't seen it. Can you tell Donovan wore his Mickey Crocs almost every day this summer?
Donovan and I were listening to Newsies in the car one day and he surprised me by repeating the line, "Hey, who asked you?". It was so flippin cute I wanted to pull over and give him a big hug and kiss. He is surprising me by a lot of the things he says, and how well he says them. Other people may not be able to understand, but I sure can! We do have yet to hear a distinction between "shoes" and "juice", we just have to figure that one out by what he is pointing to.
The Reivers won their second season game yesterday against Iowa Central, our region rivals. It was 4-0...unless they have some extremely bad luck, I'm pretty sure Iowa Western will have another Conference Championship this year. So far, Brad is an undefeated coach!

Very good! Way to go Reivers, but really, I'm more impressed by Donovan's skills. Colin is crying at me, so I'm going to stop typing now.
The girls have a shoe tan line too it is pretty funny! It is always fun when kids surprise you and say things out of the blue.
Yay for soccer going well and hurray for super cute Donovan. He is really speaking so clear and I love it that he likes Newsies.
Oh my cuteness! I can't wait until I have kids and make them watch and listen to Newsies, too :) That is the most awesome thing I have heard all week! Seriously, I know I've never met Donovan, but I think he is super rad. I mean, how could he not be?! Newsies??? I love it.
I love that you guys listen to Newsies! That was the first CD I ever bought :o)
