My new ride

We got our new van yesterday afternoon.  Brad would probably prefer I just call it mine, I'm not sure he's ready to claim ownership of a minivan yet.  Unfortunately, we cannot call it the "swagger wagon" as it is not a Toyota Sienna, we opted for a Honda Odessey instead (haven't seen the Toyota Sienna commercials?  Check them out on YouTube.  Hilarious).  If you can think of an awesome name for it though, let me know.  I just can't call it the van...it needs a name more worthy of it's awesomeness.  Anyway, we (as in Donovan and I), absolutely love it.  Say all you want about minivans (believe me, I used to), they are actually really nice to have, especially with babies!  Much more accessible than an SUV and a lot more space for cargo than a crossover or a sedan.  There's my sales pitch on minivans for the day...peace out.  *Edited with a picture just for you, Kirsta...because I like you.  It is an '07.

Around here they're known as a MAV. Mormon Assault Vehicle. Out there you could call it your Mommy Assault Vehicle...

we have a van too and we totally love it! it's not as new as yours, but i love how easy it is to get kids buckled into car seats and how much storage it has!

Aww, I like you too. Thanks dear one. It looks pretty sweet. I really am super jealous, but in a good way, not in an I hate you way.

Welcome to the club! I'm sure you will continue to love it. I'm also sure that when you go on a long road trip together or even a semi-long road trip, Brad will love it too. Much more comfortable for long trips, lots of storage, and if you put all children in the backseat it makes it very easy to ignore them. Ha.

Kirsta... resistance is futile, feel the desire and want course through your veins and permeate your every thought, I need a van.

Something about a Honda CRV that just does not eminate MAV with 3 kids in the back. ha ha!
