Donovan was plotting a sleepover at his friend's house yesterday. He is so funny, he has been spending a lot of time with his friend from our new ward, Crew. He got home from Crew's house last night and I made him immediately get ready for bed since it was already past his normal bed time. Brad got home while I was tucking him in, so he tucked him in for me. When he came out, he whispered, "Donovan just told me a secret. He said it was top secret and I can't tell Mommy." Of course, he proceeded to tell me. Donovan told him he had a plan to put pajamas under his clothes when he goes to Crew's house so he can sleep over there. Brad asked if he thought that would trick Mommy and he said, "Yeah, it's really going to work." He hasn't tried it yet, but I am sure he won't forget to try it the next time he goes over to play. He is turning out just like me, but it is happening sooner! In elementary school, I used to ride the bus to my friend's house after school all the time without telling my parents. In jr high and high school, I would just sleep over at my best friend's house down the road without asking. I guess it is time to start thinking of punishments so I'll be ready for it!

Tricky...man, they learn younger and younger.
Such a smart little boy
As long as you know where they are you can deal with a little trickery. As I've said many times, what goes around comes around. Double! Just try to remember how bad you were punished... :)
