A couple of weeks ago, Brad got a call from the missionaries around 10 pm to go help out a family in the ward. They were on their way home when their car died so they needed a ride. Brad was a little annoyed at how late it was, but he went to help them. He got the dad and little girl home and got the mom to work. On Sunday, we got a call from them telling us they had 2 free tickets to Bon Jovi and they wanted us to go with them. Of course we went, who turns down free concert tickets? We went with them last night. We didn't really have any expectations, so when we found out that Dashboard Confessional was opening for them we got really excited...we love Dashboard. I don't know about Brad, but I was a little disappointed, they only played 2 songs that we knew. It was still fun, I still love them, we just need to learn their new songs! After that I was prepared for 3 hours of boredom, I don't really know any Bon Jovi songs and I like to be able to sing along at a concert! When they started, I knew we were going to have fun. It was AMAZING!!! Next to Dave Matthews, it was probably the best concert I've ever been to...and that includes NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and 98 Degrees. Jon is a great entertainer, When we got there I didn't really understand the crazy women with Mrs Bon Jovi shirts on...but he is pretty good looking in person. So to answer my own question, Bon Jovi=AWESOME! I can't even find the words to tell you how much fun I had! PS-they have extremely loyal fans that like to wear a lot of leather.
On the potty front: Donovan had a meltdown the other night and wanted his diapers back, so I bought more diapers yesterday. He has kept them clean and dry! I don't have to ask him if he needs to go on the potty, he tells me! I guess he just had to do it his way to cooperate...I'm not complaining! Now we'll have to slowly pull him away from the diapers. I think he just needed a more gradual approach so it's not so emotional...we were both getting a little stressed out on Monday.

Of course it was the (second) best concert you've been to, look at your list... :)
I'm not a huge Bon Jovi fan, but they do know how to rock.
Oh my gosh...I LOVED Bon Jovi in concert! I saw him back in my college days with a bunch of friends and I would have to agree that concert wise...one of the best! SO jealous that you went! I'm glad you and Dvan have come to a compromise with the potty training it is definitely a struggle but good job sticking with it! It will be worth it in the end!
I would love a Bon Jovi concert. Glad to hear the potty training is going better. Both my kids had to do it on their own term.
Bon Jovi is a rocking band. I bet you and Bradley were glad he had answered the "call to serve". I'm excited that Donovan is cooperating on his own terms with potty training. It still comes down to = it has to be their idea. Good luck and good job sticking with it!
Good job on the pottying! I still haven't really done anything with it yet. I don't think I'm ready:)
