For those of you who know me very well, you know I have my fair share of ditsy moments. And for those of you who know my mother, you know where I get it from! I often put dish soap in the dishwasher because I don't feel like they get clean enough with the electrasol tabs. I just got a new kind of dish soap and I guess I put too much in, and of course Donovan found the mess before I did. 
He looked like he was trying to finger paint with the bubbles.
That was my blond moment for the week.
In other news, we went jet skiing for the first time this afternoon with some people from our ward. It was a lot of fun! I have decided that we have to have a boat and a jet ski...some day. One of us would stay on shore and play with Donovan while the other went out on the water. FYI, Lake Manawa is 10x more disgusting than Utah Lake. That should give you an idea of how nasty the water is. Instead of being brown like Utah Lake, it is green and maybe 1/8-1/4 of the size. We still had fun though, it was nice of them to invite us! Donovan loves playing in the sun so he had a great time, it was the perfect outing, until he got grumpy and tired!

I'm jealous. I'd love to go out to the lake and play. We spent our holiday chillin' at home, not doing anything productive. I love Donovan's little swim outfit. He looks so grown up.
Dish soap in the dishwasher...wow. That is a fun one. So you met up with the J's huh? Who all was there? Just Bro J or all of the fam? Just curious. I'm glad you all found something fun to do.
P.S. I bought a book from B&N today. You can borrow it when I am done. Oh, and you can have your movie back too now that I've watched it twice.
I love the lake as well, a boat is definately on my to buy list. I love the pic of donnovan on the tube.
We love to boat and jet ski too. Sounds like you had a fun time. My friend had the same blonde moment as you did and put dish soap in her parents dish washer and it was a mess! I am sure donavon loved your little moment though.
Sun and water- the perfect combination. Donovan is a cute lake boy. It's hard to believe you found a lake more disgusting than Utah Lake!
I can't imagine a lake being more disgusting than Utah Lake. We have turned down a couple invitations to go boating out there... I just can't stand it! But being out on the water is one of the funnest things! A boat would be so fun to have someday.
Yahoo for really really really clean dishes ha. Donovan looks smashing in his waterwear. He's such a cute kid.
