Sick Days...

Donovan has been sick for the last few days so we haven't been able to get out of the house much. Our days consist of snuggling to watch Baby Einstein and reading books. It has been pretty monotonous. I am going a little crazy. I am hoping we can find a babysitter tonight so we can both get out of here for a while! Illness doesn't agree with Donovan. He has been tired, whiny, and doesn't have much of an appetite for good food. He only wants to eat crackers and drink water. I guess eating real food is too tiring. I don't remember him ever being this pathetic when he was sick. I guess I notice it more because he isn't running around being silly like he usually is. I don't even know if he was crawling yet the last time he was sick. He seems to be getting a little better. Yesterday was the worst day, but I think that was my fault. He was doing really well on Wednesday so we went to our ward party at the park. He had a lot of fun but went to bed late and woke up early the next morning. I think the lack of sleep triggered something yesterday. It was nice that he would actually snuggle with me. He is too busy to do that most of the time.

It's never fun to be sick at any age. You are right though it is easy to tell when the Silvey kids are sick because they almost sit still! I hope he gets better soon! Hugs and kisses Donovan!

Well, if you need to borrow our slide to get him up and running again, let me know! He seemed to enjoy that last night! You should have just ditched Donovan with me and Mason last night. We could have kept him entertained. i know having sick kids or a sick husband is never any fun!

Ship him to me. I'll take care of him! For being sick he looks pretty pleased on the couch. Snuggling with kids is the best thing ever!
