Donovan has a new disgusting habit. We are constantly telling him to keep his hands out of his pants, but it wasn't until recently that it became the nastiest thing ever. I was just sitting here and Donovan came up to me and wiped poop on my arm...what?! This just started a couple of weeks ago, he has done it three times now. Once after he was finished with his lunch, he dug in his pants and was finger painting his tray (actually not quite as gross as that sounds, it was very minimal...but still pretty gross). Last night when I was gone, Donovan was playing in his room until he walked into the room where Brad was and wiped poop on Brad's pants. It's okay to laugh, I am laughing a little at that one. Brad went into Donovan's room and he had wiped it on the floor too. Then there is the incident today. I guess it's good that he is trying to get it off of his hand...right?! Still, it is completely disgusting and I now have to keep an extra eye on him and make sure he doesn't get the chance to dig in his pants. I am just praying that he never poops again in the morning, I can imagine the mess in his crib! The joy of raising a boy...yikes.

I'm laughing my head off right now and just being glad that my poo stories are at least contained in the bath tub which has become the new favorite spot to poo.
Hey, I have a boy and we've only painted with poo ONCE! I don't think you can call this a boy thing, this is a DONOVAN thing! Hehehe.... I'm laughing, but i do feel bad for you. Really... I do. Cinch those pants tighter or maybe make him wear a belt? Definitely stick with the one piece PJs until the phase passes... Ha! Have fun with this one!
You all did it. I think it's something kids need to get through, though. Often times we wrapped diapers with duct tape to keep them on and tight enough. Didn't always work. Good luck.
Oh no! You just might have to think about potty training soon!
That is awesome! I'm sure it will be my turn one day, so I'm going to laugh at you now, but totally give you permission when its my turn!
That is so disgusting! Funny to think about him doing it, but now funny if you are the one getting smeared with it and having to clean it up! Yuck! I love the barbie cake. I think it turned out really, really well for your first attempt!
Ha! Is that chocolate or poop? Chocolate or poop? (That movie cracked me up and so does your story.)
Yuck! Always have to be on your guard I guess. I don't remember dealing with that nasty habit. Good luck.
That is too funny. (not as funny if it was happening to me) SORRY. :D
Boys are so funny...I can't wait to have my own.
Hahahahaha...I don't care who you are, that is both so digusting and so hilarious! Oh my gosh, DeAnna...I don't know how you do it! I would be dry-heaving like no other! Hahaha...oh man. Good luck on breaking him of that one :) Just be glad he hasn't done it to a visitor or someone like that...yet :)
haha, that is hilarious! and totally disgusting...
that would be so exciting if you were out in utah for the wedding! yeah, i have your address, i'll be sure to send you an invite
that is so funny (but i'm glad its not me) auni has started trying to sit on the toilet and the other day she lifted up both seats, fell in and got stuck! i can't wait for her to be potty trained!
onesies is all i can say for under his clothes!
Oh good so much to look forward too!
Happy happy birthday. You've made it to 23, congrats! Spencer wanted to say Happy Birthday too. I hope your husband plans something special because you deserve it!
Thanks for the laugh DeAnna! I was needing one on this boring, cold, rainy afternoon. I thought of the same movie with the "chocolate or poop" line! HA! What a kid!
I cannot stop laughing!!! That is the funniest thing! Any luck breaking that yet?
