First of all, I want to say Happy Birthday to my cousin Steven. I don't know many cousin's birthdays, but I know Steven's because it's the same day as mine! I also want to say congratulations to Steven and his wife Kim on their new baby girl! She is so cute, she looks just like her big sister!
Donovan and I took another trip to the zoo yesterday, we had to get our membership renewed before the 5th or it would have been more expensive...don't want to pay that extra $10!! We got our new membership and decided to explore. He always seems to find something new every time we go, he loves that place! He squeals as we pull into the parking lot because he knows exactly where we are.
We went to the desert first where he had to dig in the dirt. Hopefully it will be warm while we are in Utah so he can dig out some weeds in his Granny and Papa's garden! He was also loving the snakes this trip. Every time he saw one he would hiss at them. He is so good with his S's. In this picture he was trying to climb up the little wall, earlier he had been sitting by them, but I couldn't get the camera out fast enough.
We went to Wendy's for lunch and he ate all 4 of his chicken nuggets, half of his mandarin oranges, and most of his chocolate milk. His pediatrician has told me that if we get one good meal in every 3 days or so, we are doing good. Donovan hasn't really followed that trend. We have about 3 days of good eating and 1 or 2 days when he hardly eats anything. He has made up his own toddler diet, which is fine with me! He is such a big boy!
After Donovan's nap we played potatoes. He has figured out how to get the glasses on his eyes, but will still put them on his neck sometimes. He also likes to put them on his mommy. Now you can see why I don't post pictures of myself, especially in the winter. Can we say "pasty white"?Anyway, I am going to spend my birthday doing laundry and trying to clean the house so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I may even do some shopping, thanks for the birthday money Tia and Sam!
By the way, do you see how fast his hair grows! I wish mine grew that fast.

Happy Birthday.
The Zoo is ALWAYS a fun time!
Happy birthday! I love the picture with the mr. potatoe head glasses.
"pasty white" Yep, I can say it.
Happy birthday.
We practiced the glasses on the eyes when we were there and he did very well, but still wanted them on his neck. Looking forward to seeing you. We'll go to the zoo with you again when Donovan's about 10 yrs old... Maybe we can make it thru the whole thing.
Wow, don't know how I missed this post!Cute pictures of you and Donovan. He is getting so big- can't wait to see you guys. He won't have weeds in our garden but he can sure help us dig and plant some more if the rain and snow ever stop!
