I had a pretty good birthday, Donovan actually behaved most of the day which made the whole day great! I was thinking of what to do for lunch when Donovan walked in with the heavy box of Bisquick saying, "cake, cake" (it's actually more like kay, kay, but we know what he means), so we made pancakes for my birthday lunch. He enjoyed every second of it! After that he took a decent nap and we headed out to run a couple of errands. I ended up buying him a new coloring book and some color wonder markers. How is it that even on my birthday I end up buying stuff for my child?

I bought this while my parents were here. My mom and I went to get pedicures and walked around the mall. We found Willow Tree at a store called Country 'n More and they were on sale! This one reminded me of Donovan the most.

Here is Donovan coloring. He loves to take his arms out of his sleeves.
Brad ended up taking me out for my birthday and it was a lot of fun, even though we just went out to eat and walked around the mall. I found some really cute shoes for Donovan, but they didn't have his size.

I am glad you had a good birthday. I also find with me it is more fun to shop for the girls then it is for me! I love the willow tree figurines, I have a few of them myself. Also aren't the color wonder stuff the best!

I like your figurine, and I love that Donovan pulls his arms out of his sleeves. That really amuses me for some reason.

Happy Happy Birthday, I'm a bum and didn't have it written down. I definitely want to get together when you come and visit.

Yippee for good birthdays! Take 'em while ya can. It's fun to see your collection growing. (willow tree)I think it's hard for a mom to go and do anything without thinking or buying something for the kid( or grandkids in my case). Happy Birthday again! Ps Remind Bradley that Scott turned 16 on Sun and was hoping to hear from him.
