We were all very glad to get home on Saturday! Chamae had a pretty funny way of showing it by waking up every 45 minutes wanting to eat. I didn't worry too much about it, she was a little jaundice and we had to take her in for another test on Sunday so I was glad she got a little more liquid to flush out some of the bilirubin. I'm really grateful she's been so good at nursing, she latched on immediately within an hour of her birth! It was completely opposite of my nursing experience with Donovan. Last night was a much better night, she slept really well and only woke me up twice. I know that won't happen every night, but I was grateful for some sleep!
Donovan picked her outfit to come home in. She's so tiny, but she has really long arms and legs so the arms on the newborn outfits are a little short.
Donovan is an awesome big brother. He loves his sister and does really well holding her.
And Chamae loves her brother! She likes to watch him a lot. She's very content when he's holding her.
Love this little girl. She gets cuter every day!

DeAnna, she is absolutely gorgeous! And I think she looks just like you. She looks perfect! I'm glad everything went well and you guys are home! I remember being totally scared to bring the girls home, but it was so nice being able to have them home. It's just a totally different experience than the hospital. Good luck with 2 kids and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you guys get some good sleep :)

She is beautiful!I'm jealous Sam got to meet her and hold her before me. I'm glad she's doing better sleeping too- nice for both of you. I agree with Kirsta she looks most like you when she's sleeping but I really see Donovan miniture more often. Very cute!
